What is involved with Fraxel treatment?
First we apply a topical anesthesia and wait approximately 45 minutes to an hour for it to take effect. Treatments take no less than 30 minutes as we pass a special light wand over the surface of the skin. As the wand makes contact with the skin it sends a laser beam into the dermis, creating a very small thermal interaction. The treatment causes very little discomfort with most people describing it as a “prickly sensation”. Many of our patients achieve optimum results from just one Fraxel treatment.
Fraxel is suitable for both men and women, of all ages and skin colours, and generally only topical anaesthesia is required, so less pain.

What Does it Cost?
Fraxel full-face treatment from $1,320 (single wavelength) and $2,420 (dual wavelength) and generally requires one treatment for a good result.
Scar Treatments from $440 per area. Depending on the scar, we may recommended several treatments at monthly intervals. Up to 4 or more treatments may be required.
